Cobbles stop shoppers in their tracks
A SHOPKEEPER says she is losing business because mothers cannot get their prams down the pot-holed, cobbled street to her shop.
Sara Hoodfar, who owns Cherry Tree Gallery in King Street, said elderly customers also struggled to walk down the steep, uneven path.
"They stand at the top and look down at the shop and say that looks lovely and carry on walking," she said. "This cobbled street really doesn't help my business. Our landlord is thinking of trying to get hold of the landowner so they can sort it out."
