Knutsford is one of Britain's richest towns
KNUTSFORD was named one of the richest towns in Britain by The Daily Telegraph last week.
The survey, based on average house prices, placed the town at number 36 in the top 50 wealthiest places.
Savills, which prepared the research, said buyers paid on average £333,530 for a home in the area with 14% of sales over £500,000. Homes in Legh Road are worth an average of £1.34 million.
They said prices had increased by 96% in Knutsford over the past five years.
